The Head of Kharkiv Regional Council Sergii Chernov conducted today an on-line consultation with readers of the “Slobidkyi Krai” newspaper.
In its Regulation #1065 of November 21, 2012, the Government adopted amendments to the Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of such character: “An authorized representative of Ukrainian Local Authorities Associations is entitled to an advisory right and participation in the Cabinet of Ministers meetings that involve reviewing issues concerning functioning of local authorities, rights and interests of territorial communities, local and regional development.
During the General Assembly meeting of the Kharkov Oblast Local Authorities Association, the Head of Kharkiv Oblast Council Sergii Chernov summed up the Association’s activity in 2012 and outlined future perspectives.
Another meeting was held in Kozyn town, Kyiv Region, between the participants of the introduction of the “Estimation of Public Ethics Standard” component of the EC Program “Strengthening the Capacity of Local Authorities in Ukraine”. The Head of the PR and Mass-Media Department of the executive authorities of Kharkov Region Council Volodymyr Diagilev took part in the event.
The need for amendments to the Regional Council Regulations supported today by the deputy corps seems reasonable due to adoption of the Public Officers Ethics Code adoption for self-government officials of Kharkov Region on the General Assembly of the Kharkov Regional Self-Government Institutions Association on August 17, 2012.
