The Ukrainian President’s Representative on Children’s Rights Yuriy Pavlenko greeted today the participants, organizers and guests of the 4th International Children’s Television Festival “Dytiatko” opening ceremony. 

“I also started my career working on TV, this is the job my first victories and defeats are concerned with” said Yuriy Pavlenko. “I wish every one of you got all the best from the job you do.”

Yuriy Pavlenko also greeted the Festival’s participants for the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich and drawn their attention to the fact that on August, 30 the State’s Head charged the Cabinet of Ministers with development of new programs for children.

The Ukrainian President’s Representative on Children’s Rights reassured that every program for children under the aegis of the Festival would be broadcast on local and regional TV channels.

He also mentioned that there was a special committee created by the President’s of Ukraine resolution that is responsible for drawing up a new national television level what would pay special attention to providing informational security for children.

“It is obvious that the current television content is not at all satisfying. This is why a new system should be drawn up that would prevent violence on broadcasts and foster the state and private channels to create new programs for children auditory. We have six months to produce a brand new product that would fill the gap that is sure to open!” said Yuriy Pavlenko turning to the participants. He also wished everyone productive work and establishing new friendly contacts.
